Sony Ericsson Phone - Tips And Tricks. Review on Sony Ericsson W810i

This review is applicable to most sony ericsson phones like K310i, K750i, w810i etc. I am using this page to give you some tips and tricks that I found with my sony ericsson w810i. I bought this phone a year ago and this is the best, excellent phone. especially I am a music lover. sony's  mega bass is excellent and I would recommend this phone instead of ipod.

next I will give you, sony ericsson users, some useful tips and tricks. this tips and tricks is applicable to latest sony ericsson phones starting with K, W, Z etc.

Hide your phone even with full network coverage and make it Not reachable:

you are with your 2nd girl friend and what will you do if your 1st girl friend calls? how to escape without switching off the phone. here is the trick.

Change network selection Mode to manual. choose a different network by running network scan. for the prompt forbidden network choosed select No. that is it. if some one or your girl friend calls you, your phone will say you are out of coverage area even there is full coverage.

Blocking Unwanted incoming calls*

now you are geting unwanted calls asking for personal loan, credit card etc. you are on a business meeting. what will you do? here is the trick.

You can block unwanted incoming calls.go to calls option -> manage calls and choose Accept calls. now make a list of callers. you will recieve calls from that list alone.

Retrieving an Unsaved phone no which got deleted*

You got a call and you delete that phone no accidently. what will you do if  you need that No later?. Call list is empty. here is the trick.

1: Select Message->choose Write new->dont type any message->press continue->press Contacts Lookup->press more->choose unsaved numbers.

Voila! there are the phone no's you just deleted. but you cannot copy or save it. only option is quote it down manually.

Accessing Hidden Service menus in W810i and most sony ericsson Center joy stick based phones.

Press joystick to Right once

then press

then press joy stick to Left twice

then press

then press joy stick to Left once

then press

you will get hidden service menus of sony ericsson. please go through each of them and explore.

nothing to worry. have fun

And if you ask me why I dint I purchase a Nokia phone this is the answer. now does Nokia has any of the options mentioned. please comment.
