I have been using Z7 for more than a year now and boy, I can say that this is a good piece!!
I had upgraded from NOKIA 3310 and it was a paradigm shift for me. Z7 has extensive range of Polyphonic sounds which make the tone ringing (Singing!!) pleasurable.. but sometimes its embarrassing in meetings too..
The Scheduler is fantastic.. I like the display and the various things I can do on a day....
The world clock gives me the flexibility of viewing two times zones at a time... so if you are working in a MNC, its a big value add. You donot have to do a mental addition / substraction of time.
And the Calculator. the best among the various mobile phones I have seen so far.. its as simple as making use of a normal calculator.. on top it has currency convertor where you can specify the currency conversion of your choice to use more frequently...
One big drawback with this (and probably al Sony models) is that they preserve all your outgoing SMS.. this is quite un-necceary overhead on the SIM/PHONE memory.
Another problem I have seen is that after a full recharge, the sound quality sometimes goes awry. I need to shutdown and re-start and all is OK!!.. I guess Sony got majorly influenced by Microsoft here...
Its Cute looks are surely a BIG PLUS.. its small and handy and the 5 way jog dial gives you world in your hand.. its very flexible and convenient to use.. I got used to it in a day or two itself and now its big fun using it..
I have not explored much of games on this phone.. am not a big Mobile phone freak..
I find the Voice Memo feature quite un-required and same is tone record..
The battrey life quite good.. I am not a very heavy mobile phone user but the life is approx 4-5 days before it drains out..and nothing to beat the sound quality..crystal clear..(i find it better than my NOKIA)
