Purchasing this hard disk considering a Sony product is a big mistake. The product is from Sony but still it doesn't pack the same quality as all other Sony product.
The big problem that I found was the data loss. Well data loss is quite an issue on this drive. You copying a big data, there's a risk that the file won't copy. I actually copy the data rather than'cut' the data because there is a chance the data won't copy.
Also the copying speed is very low. Compared to segate or dell the copying speed is low.
All in I'd say go for other products rather than this one.
