I tried finding reviews about Snow world in the net but couldnt find any dedicated to it wholly so heres my dedicated review to the place which I hope would help readers in the future.
To start with I think the whole snow world thing is a bit too hyped.When you read about the information on the net your hopes are certainly bound to rise but thats where one needs to stop..as its not as great as our imaginations would allow..at least thats what I felt when I went with two kiddo cousins for our maiden visit there.
Sessions are in terms of slots of one hr each.Visitors need to reach half an hr before to the venue for collection of warm clothing and other formalities.Tickets can be booked through the internet but the main disadvantage is that they cant be booked on the spot sitting at home..12 hr notice is required.Tickets are available easily at the venue most of the times.
17000 sft doesnt seem a large area at all when you first enter the place.Suddenly with so many people around it seems a small place where one has to look out for a lone corner to enjoy.Rides are very very few....merry go round is a safe experience..Ice skating is also available which thrills adventurous visitors once or twice.Then theres some climbing kind of a mt everest pile of snow which visitors can try and climb..at their own risk.All these and a few other experiences can be done with in about 15-20 minutes and thats when the one hr period starts seeming long.Kids can thouroughly enjoy this place though.
One major problem that I faced when I went was the crowd of guys which came in groups and went beserk in their excitement.They just in their enjoyment fell over us.Not one or two but ten in number...Luckily we managed to escape after our collision with one of them but with kids below 10 years it become a a nuisance trying to protect them from these kind of incidents.Similar is the case with the volleyball and rain dance courts.Its all a mad rush and you never realise when someone fals on top of you knocking you down.
I had a hard time trying to take my cousins to some safe place in the arena where they could innocently play small games and make snow houses.
Overall the experience wasnt as great as expected.
Just that dont go to this place with high expectations and hats off to those who realise that 1 hr is too less :)
