Snapdeal is one of the first sites I have online shopped from since I am in India, and it has only given me bad experiences, people who have received the same would be able to relate to-
I bought a perfume ( Versace pour homme 100 ml men edt) for 2699 INR which is a product of 4550 INR, I am a person who doesnt change perfumes time to time, I am stuck to this one for years. Saw it at a good price bought it. And what was delivered to me was a fogg perfume. This happened to me July 2016, they took 1 day extra to the committed date of delivery and brought me this. I returned the product and thought of never ordering a product from snapdeal and to my surprise they refunded me the cash in their wallet. I was stuck!
To use this cash, to start I ordered a Mi power bank 20, 000 mAh worth 2229 INR. It didnt get delivered nor was the tracking working so I called them a few times on their NOT TOLL FREE number. Yes they do charge for the call( airtel user) . They ask us to input the number given for the order. I tried tried and tried but they couldnt find my order. By surprise they do not tell us what to dial to get the customer service agent. Finally I tried dialling 9 just like that and got connected and they tell me they have taken a complaint. It has happened to many of my friends and I waited for 3 days( promised 48 hours) and I went and collected it from the delivery agent Blue dart. Not from just my experience, from my group of friends to relatives, all have a bad experience from Snapdeal.
This review is for those people who havent ever ordered from snapdeal and want some product in order to gift someone, please try somewhere else. They havent ever delivered on time in my experience.
