I have been shopping at snapdeal since many years.
It is now fast returning to characteristics and model it adopted in its initial days and is again becoming a storehouse of fake, substandard and counterfeit products along with, of course, many good deals to offer a mix to camouflage dishonesty.
They are in cahoots with many unscrupulous suppliers. I was supplied a substandard battery and when I filed return request, my request as well as my review for the product were deleted, paving way for the supplier to continue to take others for a ride.
Their facebook page is inundated with similar stories. Please be cautious. Always check genuineness of the product and follow up for return each day for the next 7 days, the small window available for return. They would always try to avoid return and unsuspectingly, may delete your request as in my case. Otherwise prefer Amazon.
