The days of Innocence. Review on Small Wonders

Ted Lawson a robotics engineer makes an unbelievable invention VICI the Robot,who for the world was a little girl of about 15,an angel in a white frock and red satin stripes,Ted's only son Jamie who believes himself to be very handsome,he was cute no doubt and was mad after a girl in school Jessica but was afraid of Hariet Brindel(face par spots aur daaton pe braises meri shaadi kabhi nahi hogi)shebelieved that Jamie was her true man.Joan was ted's lovely wife who always dreaded Bony,yes Bony Brindel (No nOn No Non No noN no) and Brandon Brindel Ted's boss in the office and Bony's Hubby(Harriet's daddy)..and to add to all this they are neighbours!!!!

A lovely series which will be loved forever by all generations,the series is mainly about Ted and Joan having a tough time with their courteous and helpful neighbours The Brindels who come to dinner without invitation,finish the whole drink if offered a sip,and much more.Its shows Jamie under emotional crisis,having crushes which he thought was love,all the days of innocence,laughter and fun.

I started watching this series since the age of nine and its memories are imprinted on my mind trust me friends I have not forgotten a single episode.Its because of the characters in the series and how well they have been played.Tiffany Brissette suited perfectly for the role of Vici,and Jerry Supiran for Jamie was the best possible and other characters too I think that all of them were born to play their characters.

A small wonder lover would say that every episode was soo unique and so different but I think I can list some of my favourite episodes which I will remember for a long time atleast I m sure i'll narrate them to my grand children.

Memorable episodes:

One unforgettable episode is the one in which Jamie asks his dad to join him in the weekend carnival in which their will be games to be played and guys can team up with their dads,Ted refuses as he said he was busy.. Jamie was dissapointed but came up with an idea and requested Brandon to join who agreed instantly.They practiced for the games everyday and Jamie started calling Brandon "DAD" which started stinging Ted on his heart.Ted's jealously and love for Jamie could be seen when he tries to injure Brandon with his elbows during a practice session claiming to be "Elbow Lawson" but Brandon counters and injures Ted as he believed he was 'Knees Brindel"

Another one which no Small wonder lover can forget is when Hariet and Vici become friends and Hariet teaches Vici her tantrums and how to worry her parents and demand whatever she wanted.Vici started doing all those things which Hariet taught her..that one was simply HilaRioUs.

In one of the episodes we saw that there was some offer for orphans who were given free passes for some play or concert and Jamie and Vici came up with an idea and made up a story that they had no father and that one night he went out to bring pizza and never returned again.This was a laugh riot.

Who can forget that one in which Jamie opened a date fixing agency sitting at home and made Vici dress up in different forms and date with the guys who paid him few dollars for each date.Vici dressing up like Marlyn Monroe was simply out of the world.

Super moments:

Vici shaking the whole house to make everyone feel that an earthquale has struck.

Vici falling in love with another computer named LES.

Vici uprooting the mail box when asked to get the mail.

Vici playing baseball for the school team.

Vici stealing money from Joan's purse to but drugs.

Friends today I went back to the days of Innocence and recollected so many memorable moments which brought smiles to my face I m sure even u smiled while reading all this..small Wonder doesn't air any longer but I miss it and surely I m not the only one.Iwish Star Plus or world brings it back for you,me and all other children,teenagers,mommies and daddys and even oldies like my grandmother who loved watching it.
