I bought this washing machine last sunday as my 4 year old IFB brokedown. guyz to b honest wid u I was little reluctant about goin in 4 frontloader this time bcoz of my previous experienced IFB ( it was horibale)
When I shared my viewpoint wid CROMA ASTORE. They suggested me dt I should have a look wid new washing machine before taking anydiscussion , frankly speaking I was not
Interested but my ‘MA’ was in mahamood of shopping & hence she insisted me (beta ek baar dekh to lo agar pasand nahi aaya tu mat layna ) mom’s …..I tel u :-)
With a lot of purse empowered energy, my mom n me walked into CROMA Electronics Mumbai to blow out my hard earned money
Samsung, Tromm, Electrolux, Haier were being offered to us by Shop attendant pratap I don’t have much respect for Korean brands so I dismissed the former two and critically assessed the latter two. I was told (by both my friend and the salesperson) dt Electrolux would b a good choice and it was lot cheaper dn siemens only 18 k so I chose ElectroluxMy ma liked it too so We finalised and headed to the cash counter just dn the manager there Said sir it’s a very new model of siemens would u like 2 have a look at it ?
first look : wow .... it was a gr88lookin piece of engineering the build quality was superbe way sturdey dn my old IFB , IFB has fiber doors Siemens has unbreakable glass doors.Siemens door is perceived stronger n overall build quality was gr8 n above all it was fully German Made
I changed my mind the very moment and opted 4 Siemens IQ 7 kg
Purchased:
It carried a price tag of Rs 38000/- and dealer offered me for 35000/- INR
Delivered:
the machine was delivered next day of my purchase and installed on next day of delivery. It was a quick response from siemense, I must say. The guy installed it and explained its programmes and provided a demo of how to operateit and care to be taken that of machine and clothes, how to load it etc. It actually is very easy and can be operated by even a child of 6-7 years. All one has to do is put it on any of wash programme as explained to you normally on cotton at 40 degree, load machine with clothes leaving around 6 inch of freespace in the drum, fill the detergent, ensure proper water inlet and outlet andgo....what comes out is a real surprise I get the same quality of wash which I expected from it, old clothes look shines new and dirtfree. Happy and satisfiedwith the wash quality
sound & vibration -- Well Siemens wins here too Siemens washing machines are very stable & make no noise. My IFB machine use to make hell lot of noise& it use to travel all over my kitchen when I use to run it in full speed
features:
22 wash programmes include cottonat 30, 40, 60, 60 stains, 90 degree, wool at 0, 30 degree, delicates at 40degree, easy care at 30, 40 degree, rinse, spin, empty etc ( may be I ammissing one programme here) it has quick wash option and no spin option aswell, on top of it it has led + lcd display indicators showing what machine is currently doing. and all thesecontrols are electronic i.e. not mechanical. All these makes this machine uncomparablewith any other machine The time take by all these programmes varies from 90 minutes to 120 minutes or more, I have not tried all of them. A quickwash can definately shorten the time
so far as wash quality is concerned, it should continue to deliver like this.As the machine carries two years of warranty, don’t have to bother for atleast two years. I put a trust on
siemense quality
After sale service - IFB has worst service support. Engineers are not technically sound .Replaced part failure rate is high, Engineer try to replace part which don’t have problems. on Siemens side After sales service is not experienced as yet not required. So I am not presuming anything there right away
To to sum it up I am happy wid my housewife
