Last friday I read an ad in Times Of India that there is an "UNCONDITIONAL FLAT 30%" extra discount on watches at shopping.indiatimes.com.
Well the offer was too good to be true and as too good to be true things are actually too good to be true I was scared to place the order. But here was a watch GShock 270 which I wanted to buy since a year but was not willing to spend 7K on it.
I logged in to the site saw the watch is available for 6500 and after their initial discount of 10% there was 30% extra discount on it. I had to pay 41xx only for something I saw for 7K and was in by "things to have" list.
I read the reviews and was hold back by it but, I had bought a Videocon AC (buy 1 get 1 free) in 2007-8, d elivery was in time and the AC is working till today, and that was my last transaction with Indiatimes.
Going by my previous experience I planned to move ahead and place the order. I called them up and asked them if I can cancel the order if it is not delivered within 10 days (as per their delivery schedule) or return the order if I don't feel it is genuine or damaged or I am just not happy with it, they told me I can return it and they will return the money.
With that confirmation I placed the order on Friday 15th at 7:00 PM, yesterday 19th June I got an sms that the item has been shipped, I checked the AWB and it said that it has reached to their shipper in Delhi for overnight shipment to Bangalore, I was happy to see that.
Today (20th June) I got the watch in Bangalore and it is on my wrist, I loved the packing and I am as happy as I can get.... Beating all the odds and reviews I am a satisfied customer and will definitely order again.
