Please do not do your online shopping from Rediff.com.I wanted to buy some books so I decided to try Rediff.com Shopping. I was able to find the books that I was looking for, so I ordered 3 books. Once I had completed the online transaction, I was expecting to receive atleast one email giving me the order confirmation details, but it never came. After waiting for 2 hours, I called up customer care to ask for my order confirmation.
I received the email after 2 days, confirming my order. I received my first book on time. After a week, I received an email saying that my second book is out of stock and my order has been cancelled. It was shocking, because when I placed the order, it never said it was not available and after waiting for 1 week I got to know that its out of stock.
I was waiting for my 3rd book, but I guess Rediff people had forgotten that there was a third book also. After sending emails for another 2 weeks, I was able to convince them to send the book (as if I had not paid for it). The refund for the second book also took a long time to come. Their customer service is pathetic and so is their overall service. Even one of the books that they sent, was looking like a used book. I would give them a rating of 1/10.
