I placed an=order(no. 3230937) for VOX stereo dt. 29th April 2013= to gift it to my friend. Initially I was happy that I placed the order from one of the trusted online e-commerce portal in INDIA however it be came a bad dream all together.
I waited nearly 2 weeks for getting my product(as the details its been told to me that there is some problem with the courier company which is making this delay) and finally got it on 10th May 2013 late evening. When I opened the product next day, I was so surprised and shocked by looking at the condition of it.
The box in which the Stereo was kept in bad shape. It seems to be a old one anyways this is not an end. When I further opened the Stereo Box, I was so shocked to saw the broken seal which is nothing but the warranty from the Manufacturer. Even the mentioned contents were not present in the box like Warranty Card, Fitting Plate, User Manual etc. After providing the attached picture I'm still struggling to get my refund back.
This is not the end. After making several calls, chats and emails to shopclues.com, people in the customer care make false promises. I came to know about this when I received a call from the Shopclues.com.
First of all the lady on the other side was speaking like anything. It seems to me like she had a fight with someone. The tone of that lady was so annoying that I can't describe it in words. Anyways, the first statement she said, that I'll not be getting any refund. Because as per their company policy if a person who wants to get his refund has to raise the concern within 10 days from the day he/she bought the product. After providing the history of my calls, chats and emails she somehow convinced(i think so by keeping my finger crossed). and said she will be raised the ticket for my refund. I had this chat on 23rd May 2013.
Now, every time when I try to communicate with them, they come up in the same way like
a) Your concern is our top priority. We are currently escalating it to concerned department and you will get your refund back.
b) Thank you for writing to us. We try our best to get back to you within 2 working days. To help us take the issue with the merchant and expedite the process please reply to this email by sending the image of the product
It is going to be a month now and after so much of tussle, I'm still unsure whether I'll be getting my refund back or not.
