We have gone Shivalik hospital for our first child delivery. This hospital was recommended by our Dr. Poonam Piplani. We were visiting piplani clinic sector 12 for treatment during entire pregnancy.
She recommended 3 hospital:
Kailash Hospital(we rejected it because we had bad expreice here, felt like unethical charges)
Mitra Hospital(we like the infra and facility here, but the doctor told that this is being the orthopedic hospital, and delivery is not happening very frequent so staff is not well trained)
Shivali hospital(which we dont lke but not having other option we chosse this one).
Now in the Shivalik, the location is not very good, its middle of a village.
My wife got admitted around 2 pm and doctor started operation around 3 pm.
about hospital:
Staff is not very coordinating. mostly cheap staff.
We have taken private single room, the room is just ordinary, not a single medical equipment in the room.
The room, bed sheet, other things was not at all hygienic. We saw cockroach moving in the room all night.
Bed was of poor quality.
The staff has handover baby to us with in 1 hour after delivery and they kept mother in the ICU for 24 hours for shake of observation. Never heard like this, usually nurses take care of baby for few hours.
We went upstairs, and found their kitchen, believe me thats look like third class cheap without any hygienic. The vegetable was of third quality.
There was no arragement for water boiling, we need to go every time outside the room at a corner place where a heater for nurses was there, Pathetic. They didn't help even getting hot water for making powder milk for baby.
I dont know how they were serving ruafja(sharbat) and curd rayata in the winter for OT discharge patient.
Overall its looks like a village hospital, the staff was not very supportive and its not recommended at all. I believe the charges are quite high for the kind of hospital and facility they have provided.
