This theater is on LBS marg, kurla. the tickets are relatively cheap but the less said of the crowd the better.
I have visited this place only once, that too on a sunday. The first thing I noticed was tickets, not the computerized ones you get at multiplex but the pink coupon like ones, 80's style. So I purchase my ticket and stand in a long queue, the absence of the female species is another thing I notice now.
You will find mostly migrant labourers et al visiting this place and the walls are splattered with pan stains (why did I wear a white shirt today). Taking your family/girlfriend etc is a strict no no here... it is too downmarket.
The only kinds of movies you might enjoy is the govinda type ones with the crowd whistling and cheering at the slightest provocation. You will have to literally close your ears as soon as a female appears on screen as the crowd would whistle and scream even if she is totally clothed, (as I said before dont even think of taking your family or girlfriend here).
The only good thing that I can think of is location. It is right on LBS marg and almost any bus will take you there from Kurla station.
