I love my little Sharp microwave! Actually, I love my little Sharp microwaves. Yup, I have 2 of them. But that's a another story. I actually have Sharp 209 B, but they are almost the same.

I've had my little Sharp for a few years now and I don't think I could get along without it.

It came with all the features I need for only $99.00. There is an express defrost button on it which is perfect for someone like me who forgets to defrost dinner. I just pop it in the micro, set it for the desired defrost time (for which there is a selection button, where you press the type of food you are defrosting and the weight), let it run through the defrost cycle, and in a few minutes my chicken, beef, pork or fish is ready to cook!

There are also preset buttons for popcorn, baked potato, fresh veggies, rolls/muffins and even a preset button for reheating a dinner plates. If you have more than 1 item of the preset items, just hit the button twice for 2, thrice for 3, etc.

There are 11 power levels from 0% through 100% cooking power, which is broken down into very low, low, defrost, med low, med, etc. The lower the power level you use, the longer the cooking time. (Which is really recommended for cooking cheeses and all dairy products and for slow cooking meats.)

This little micro can also be programed to use up to 3 different cooking sequences during 1 cycle. You just program it to cook at different heat levels for specified amounts of time. For example, 10 minutes at 30% to defrost, then 4 minutes at 100% to seal in the juices and then 80% to cook the item through.

There is even a control lock out so that small children can not operate the micro. You press the clock button, then #1, hold for 3 seconds and the word ''safe'' appears where the clock is. To unlock, press #1 than stop/clear. Ready to use.

Also, if you don't want the beep or bell to go off when your food is finished cooking, you can eliminate that with a touch of a button too.

The turntable is large enough for a dinner plate, (0.7 cubic ft.) so it's not one of your really big micros, it runs at 700W which is quite ample for normal cooking and it's a breeze to keep clean. A damp cloth does it all.

As I stated earlier, I do have 2, one was a gift. I have one in black and 1 in white so I'm ready for anything!

In my opinion, under 100 bucks spent wisely!
