Hi, I booked a ticket from Kollam on 5th Jan 2012 and I realized before I even entered the bus that this was a big mistake.
I was traveling with my wife and son and my bus was at 6:00 in the evening and it arrived at 7:30 PM. When questioned I was told that this was because of traffic ( bull sh!t). I entered the bus and could not sit comfortably in the chairs (I am average built and 5ft 7 inches).
After we started the bus cleaner in the process of optimizing the seating stopped at 16 times (7:30 to 12:30 PM), this was the most annoying part. Later, we stopped near a small restaurant which did not have anything vegetarian (only 20 mins).
My family could not sleep the whole night because of the lack for leg room. We were supposed to reach Bangalore at 8:00 PM but reached at 9:00 PM and we did not even get a toilet break in the morning, the driver was trying to make up for time spent on those 16 stops.
I have traveled from Kollam 5 times and this has been my worst experience. I feel SRM Multi-Axle Volvo buses are mush better.
