Went to this lovely plce wid couple of offce fellas 4 lnch.Location: I dont think so I need to explain where dis plce is located... bt once inside the great TAJ, go straight ahead, take d left at d dead end & then enter this beautiful cafe!!
Ambience: typical cafe u wud find in a 5 star.. nthng mch to comment abt!
Food: Amazng spread of the buffet in terms of starters & desserts! The cuisine was a mix of Indian, continental, chinese & italian. The starters had a good spread of about 20 odd items to fill ur plate. D best one I liked was the veg kabab.... amazingly soft!! there were breads, soups, salads (more than 10 varities of salads alone) & other small drinks like mango lassi, jaljeera water, etc. The main course was a let down tgh wid hardly any option for both veg & non-veg. There was only one bhaji, roti, dal & biryani... while the same type continued in other cuisines too wid typical one gravy & rice / noodle in chinese. So not mch of an option here in main course.. tgh we would have loved to have more options regarding the same.
Desserts is probably the best part of this place. amazing desserts spread across one half of the cafe!!!! more than 40-50 varities waiting to enter into your stomach & mind u... nethng u touch or take into ur plate, u wont b dissappointed!! D best dessert I liked was the kheer (sugarfree kheer tasted so fabulous dat I was wondering whther I really had a sugar free kheer); anjeer ka halwa.... it was so so so so soft, that d moment it entered ur mouth, b4 u realise its down ur throat & reaching towards ur stomach. I also liked d chocolate varities (dere wre so mny... hrd to remember names)!! I also loved d cakes... so mny options to choose from... one can seriously indulge in SIN for the cakes!!
Service: top notch service... wid dedicated & well trained staff... their service from each & every employee was very friendly & they took good care of us during our time spent there & also helped us in suggestion whenever we enquired abt smthng in a very polite manner! While we paid our check, we were asked to give a feedback of d plce... wen v did dat, I had mentioned d lack of options in main course... to which surprisingly, their mgt ppl (who is in-charge 4 d plce), came to me & enquired abt wt went wrng & hw cud de improve it... it really tchd... to c dem being so consumer oriented (tgh their business is consumer centric, I agree, bt u wnt find dis kind of service & down to earth kinda staff at other plces)!
Price: Yea.... u guessed it rte... dis kind of service & food does command some price!!!! u might end up lightening ur pocket by Rs.1, 700 per person here... wch is slightly one on d expensive frnt!! V were glad to have a discount coupon wid us which lightened d bill by 50% for us!! But its wrth d price... given d fact dat u get 2 spend 2 hrs wid ur frnds here without a wrry!!
Recommendation: I would urge ppl 2 try this plce... wid frnds or in a grp!! I have experienced one of the best dining plce (for a buffet) here & would urge u to experience d same too!!
