First of all a superstar is not someone who gives superhit movies. No. That is the reason why Dhermendra, Rajesh Khanna, Dev Anand, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt are not considered as superstars although they all striked box office Golds.

Superstar is someone who gives super hits but is also someone who is over rated and deservedly so. The media has to publish and publicize him no matter what he does. He does many other stuff as well as films. He must be idolized by both the classes and the masses. He should be someone who is remembered by everyone in any part of the country.

So superstar line up is as follows.

Dilip Kumar (I liked him but he is a favourite among all my ancestors)

Amitabh Bachchan (The Superstar who's Zenith is Infinity and Cant Be matched)

Shahrukh Khan (I dont like the guy that much but he's a fav among the last decade)

Abhishek Bachchan (The present and the Future)

Hrithik will become the next Aamir Khan.

John Abraham will become the next Salman Khan.

Shahid Kapoor the next Rishi Kapoor. Saif Ali Khan is the next Saif Ali Khan (Only getting Better).

Vivek Oberoi the next Anil Kapoor (Their rise & fall are the same)

Sohail Khan the next Sunny Deol.

Mohit Alawat trying to be the next Sunil Shetty. (Trying).

Ritesh Deshmukh trying to be like Govinda. (Their styles are different though).

I think his popularity is falling a bit. First thing is overexposure. I think the fact that you see him in some form anywhere and everywhere and it’s been like that for years has started to take its toll. Second thing is that other actors are starting to become more prominent. Let’s be honest.

Last couple of years there has been him at a distant first place, then Hrithik significantly lower and then the rest. But nowadays, Hrithik is probably as popular as a couple of years ago, Abhishek has become alot more popular, so has Salman, Aamir has made his comeback, and Saif has also become more popular.

Trends have shifted towards those really horrible, no-brainer, crass sex comedies and SRK likes to maintain a cleaner family image, which is a stand I like to see. The biggest reason that I have turned away from being a huge fan to just somone who appreciates his contribution to the industry is what I think is best described as a mid-life crisis.

Good acting in Indian cinema is Aamir's versatility for his performances, Amitabh monologues, Nana's dialogues, Kamal Hassan's dedication, not Shah Rukh's Rahul role over and over again. Therefore I don't give “a toss about what you think ''. 90% of his movies are chick flicks and if you are a girl I can see how you may like him,

But the guy has no range; he played 3 roles in my opinion his whole career, a short span as a repetitive obsessive lover (villain), a lover, or a country lover. Wow, incredible guy isn’t he. As a person I got nothing against him because he came out of no where, faced tons of hardships while growing up and made it.

I just wished he was a better actor for me to respect him. He's the Keanu Reeves of India, popular, but terrible! He maybe the greatest showbiz or perhaps star, but not actor. Acting-wise he wouldn't even make it to the top 10 actors that India has ever. The point I am tying to make is.

Irrespective of box office success, Shah Rukh can never manage to lift a movie on his shoulders without wonderful directors like Ashutosh Gowariker or Mani Ratnam behind him, but Aamir is very much capable of doing this. In my opinion, Mangal Pandey is a very ordinary movie, raised to a decent movie status, just by Aamir's performance.

Corny'' Johar cannot even be called a decent filmmaker, let alone being called ''great''. You really think Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho were intelligent movies to me, they are quite mindless. Yeah, when I was a kid, I loved Kuch Kuch Hota Hai I can barely tolerate the film now.

And Karan Johar-SRK team has in fact, proved nothing. For an actor like SRK shoould've never disgraced himself by working with a piece of beep who calls himself filmmaker. Yeah, SRK-Kundan Shah, SRK-Ashutosh Gowariker, SRK-Adi Chopra, SRK-Aziz Mirza.

SRK-Yash Chopra and even SRK-Abbas Mustan have proved a lot of things. Frankly speaking, SRK has reserved his worst for Karan Johar he's never hammed as much in any other film (not even Guddu) like he's done in K3G or KHNH.
