As we grow older tooth sensitive and pain are common problems, though we try all home remedies, it will not provide much solution to it. For my tooth sensitivity started with gap between tooth. I went to dentist and filled it by sensitivity was not resolved. One of my relative recommended to use Sensodyne. Yes of course, Cost of paste is relative high when compare to other paste but sensitivity problem was addressed.
Initially I started with brushing twice a day, It resolved sensitivity within 15 days. Later I came to know Fluoride level in this paste is high which is resolving sensitivity related issues but swallowing this paste can create certain health related issue in long term. We need to be quite caution that this paste is not swallowed. So, I started to use this tooth once in a day and reduce quantity to peanut size for brushing.
I also had one another issue, if I stop using this tooth paste for more than 3 days, I get into tooth sensitivity issue again, which means that root cause of the tooth sensitivity is not resolved but it act as temporary solution for sure.
