Bought this hard drive few months back as I needed a portable hard drive for my everyday need and to carry it around its not possible for me to just carry a laptop everywhere and its a better option just to take a hard drive and plug into a computer and use it for my needs.
Also the hard drive being only if such a slim size you can just carry it around in your pocket. Its is that much slim and its possible as easy and portable to carry like a smartphone these days.
The speed is really good and the hard drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 operational which is a good thing if you are using the hard drive in old computers. The speed in 3.0 is very good 70 mbps for the price.
The company Seagate gives an offer of 200gb cloud storage hence the backup plus tag to it which is really great I loved this feature. Its a really good hard drive and at this price I cannot expect much as it is very easy to use, almost no noise and value for money.
