Chennai city is the craddle off Kollywood- the mecca of south indian movies. It is only obvious that this place must have good theaters too. But, untill recently, we never had any theater we could look up to an example. Now we do, for that matter, an entire complex.
Satyam Complex is an important landmark in Chennai city map now. It has 5 theaters already and going to be raised to 8 soon. If you ask me, the best 5 theaters in any of the south Indian cities. I can't say anything about other cities as I havent seen any there. In any theater I have visited till now, I had a tough time finding a parking spot for my car. Here, they have a huge parking area which can easily take 250 to 300 cars and bravo to the management team, so much space in the heart of city, is almost an un-imaginable investment. Well organized too so taht no matter which movie gets over first, you can always get out of there with out waiting for the drivers of cars sorunding yours. Satyam complex boast of 5 state of art theaters, namely - Satyam, Sree, Santham, Subham and studio -5, equipped with the best Digital sound Systems complete with JBL speakers, Imported foam seats to prevent bacteria growth and foul odure spaced well to allow free movement and cup holders, Well laid flooring, excellent Airconditioning (which runs through out the show) which is a boon in a hot city. Once you enter the theater, you will feel very cozy. Stuff in this theater never ends with the hall.
The cafeteria here is well stocked with all the goodies you may want to bite in. To list a few, we get all the softdrinks from Coke, Qwikkys Coffee, Cookie Man Cookies, Hot Breads Pasteries and a whole lot of chocolates with the ever fave Popcorns - Good fresh one. And trust me, for a cinema hall, the prices are very reasonable. The lobby is well done up and a strict smoke free zone as a policy. Now that is some thing we must look up to in all theaters. Walk in to thier tiolets to be surprised further. Its all speck and clean. Will beat most of the home toilets too for cleanliness. Well kept and maintained, cudos to the maintenance team. Did I miss something? Of course I did! The kind of movies they get here. Oh boy, ask any one in Chennai and they will tell you.
All the hottest movies in town are there. After all, you have a menu with 5 different movies every show. One ought to be your kind. All those in Chennai, if you havent visited Satyam complex yet, do it now and for those not in Chennai, next time you are there, make sure you have time for a movie at SATYAM Complex.
