INTRODUCTION

When talking about Sarfaroash, it was another acting masterpiece from Aamir Khan who have stunned us with his acting in lots of other movies like Andaz Apna Apna, Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikhander and lots more. His acting skills reach another heights in this great movie. John Mathew Matthan had a very promising debut, thanks to this movie. The movie has some slow parts and some quick ones too. This gives me the impression that if you haven't seen this movie till now, you are certainly missing something big in your life.....the audio too is worth hearing - some good effects to the human ears instead of lots of crap we are hearing every day (especially me).....

THE MOVIE

This movie has got its own importance in almost all genres. It is a really entertaining movie with action, love, drama and emotions. It also becomes a family movie during the running process. No other movie based on terrorism has seemed to create an impact like this one because of its special characteristics. The song ''Zindagi Moth Na Banjaaye'' itself gives a special feeling to the film. The songs in the movie are really great - ''Jo khal dil ka'' was gorgeous and ''Is deewane ladke ko'' was really amazing. This is what I call a complete movie. Te dialogues are really more solid than rock.....

THE PLOT

Assistant Comissionerof Police, Ajay Singh Rathod (Aamir Khan) is given the mission of catching a band of terrorists smuggling weapons to Pakistan. His family had to face lots of difficulties due to terrorist attacks. He is a very straight forward police officer who wants each and every criminal - whatever he is whatever he do infront of the law. In his mission, he is supported by a police officer named Salim (Mukesh Rishi) who wants to do something for his country. Not to forget Seema (Sonali Bendre) who loves Ajay and vice versa right from the college life. The plot is strong enough to go on.....

In an era when terrorism is reigning, can Ajay and Salim succeed in their mission? Or will they fail to do what is expected from them? What about the love story of Ajay and Seema? What about the family of Ajay? These are the questions that can be taken from the movie as it progresses. I am not going to tell the full story here as there will be atlease 1/100 who has not seen this movie. For those people I will fully recommend this magnificient movie.

PERFORMANCE

As I said earlier, Aamir Khan is really wonderful in the movie as he suits or should I say ''sticks'' into the movie as well as his character like glue. He is one man who has not been affected by any external factors and concentrates on what he is doing currently. He is the one artist who got more talent than any one else. He seems to have got the magic to make a movie super hit. Well done Aamir Khan.....keep going.....

Sonali Bendre did some good job in the movie with some good performance and some revealing shows. As in usual action movies, the heroine doesn't have much to do except adding charm to the movie as well as give some colourfulness to the song scenes. But she did what was expected from her perfectly to get an applause.

Sonali Bendre had been a leading actress for some periods of time in Bollywood. But I think that Sonali's acting skills and beauty requires more attention that she got in her career. She had been my favourite actress for some time. Mukesh Rishi seemed really great with his solid dialogues as well as the facial expressions. He has done lots of negative roles, but I think this type of role gets the better of him ie a postive role with some strong points just like he did in ''Dum''.

Nazzeruddin Shah has done remarkably well in the movie as the two faced person - a ghazal singer from Pakistan - a messenger of peace as well as the terrorist master mind even if I didn't find ''the League'' very interesting. But he has done the job without any panic. His acting is natural and I think that this is the best role he can get at any time.

CONCLUSION

I think that this movie has one of the best morales we can ever get. It gives us the impression that whatever be the religion - Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Parsi - there are good and bad people. The development of a country depends on the patriots and the dutiful persons inside it. As the terrorist attacks across the border as well as all around the world is increasing and the religious extremism is still going on, I hope that this movie brings some thinking capacity in the heads of those people who doesn't care for human lives.....those who doesn't realise what the importance of life is - its significance and how precious it is.....

STOP TERRORISM - SAVE THE WORLD may be a motto of this movie.....I think.....
