I have visited sapurata 8-9 times. I used to go saputara from my child hood.
First time I was gone saputara in my school tour. Saputara is only one place and hill station near surat and in the gujrat. But in saputara there is not more adventure activities to do. Only boating and rope way is the activity to do.
I recommend saputara to visit in rainy season only. Because in the rainy reason atmosphere of saputara becomes coolest. I have visited saputara once in summer. But we get only hot wind. So I do not recommend to go in summer.
