I am coming to this place from my childhood since from seven years of age. Sanjay Gandhi jaivik udyan comes under the group of the largest zoo in the country and it is spread over 153 acres of land.
This Garden was established in 1969 and consist more than 110 species of wild animals. I really like to spend the time inside this garden.
This place is the best place for the picnic and in Patna it is considered as picnic spot.you have to come here through personal vehicle because due to security purpose auto and buses are not allowed in this area. There are more than 300 species of plants, trees and herbs.
Sanjay Gandhi jaivik udyan is so big and there is children’s park for the children and so many jhoola’s are there for them to enjoy. There is fish house and you can see so many different species of fish here. You will find so many visitors every day and especially on New Year it was record of visiting ten lakh people to this place in 2010.
This place is for everyone but now a day it is becoming lovers point too. In this park you can enjoy the boating for long time. This place is so clean and so silent. There is a golf field where people play golfs. You will find all animals especially white tiger. People comes to this place in morning and for evening walk also and we all enjoy the true nature here. I like this place there is nothing to dislike. I will highly recommend this place to each and everyone.
