PadmaShri for Sania...Does she really deserve it?. Review on Sania Mirza

I feel “Arjuna award” would have been a better option for a sportswoman like Sania...No, even that, tooooo, she doesn’t deserve @ this early stage of her career where she didn’t achieve/contribute much yet...

Okay, I accept that she contributed a lot in fetching International

Reputation to India in the world of Tennis...Okay, I know that “ PadmaShri” is given, also to those, who contributed to world of sports in India...But I wonder what did she do so much so she gets an award, not just an award, but a BIG AWARD...Just winning couple of matches, thats it...

Okay, she might have inspired lotof youngsters, but is that all one needs to do for India to win a PadmaShri...I should say, she got that verry unworthy & undeserving big accolades for the verry little she did...

Now-a-days, she just goes upto Quarter Finals & gets beaten-up then & there, she couldn’t able to go beyond that...Did she win any Grand-slam till date???...I wouldn’t have complained (or) written this Review if she would have won a Grand-Slam & awarded PadmaShri (or) Arjuna Award...So what abt Leander Paes(or) Mahesh Bhupathi...They wonmany Doubles Grand-Slams...I wonder, why didn’t the Govt. give any award to them till now(as per my knowledge, both of them did not win/get any award till date)...Just a day ago, Mahesh Bhupathiwon the Mixed-Dobleswith Martina Hingisin Australian Open...The same happened with many other sportsmen/women of our country...There are/were many real achievers who have done faarrrrr faaarrrrrr faaaaarrrrrr better than Sania...

I would say, let her win few Tournaments before we shower her with any awards...

BTW, I dint write this review in anti- to Sania...Sorry, I like Sania playing Tennis coz I like her powerful Forehand shots...But I just thought, its tooo early to award Sania a “ PadmaShri “.....

I wonder, what the Indian Govt. is upto...Was it just the politicians who are corrupted (or) everybdy!!!!!...So guyz, tomorrow don’t question the Governmentif Rahul gets ‘Arjuna’ and Sonia gets ‘Bharata Ratna’...LOLz
