My son bought a LCD TV model LA32R81BM at Diwali time in 2007. In Feb 2009 the picture went blank and the company's service department declared failure due to moisture and humidity leading to Panel replacement costing Rs 25, 088. This was followed by another failure in Sept 09 when the Power PCB was replaced at a cost of Rs 2448; yet another failure corrected on 27/10/09 due to collapse of Main PCB replaced free( after a fight) but charging for service cost Rs 1103.
Behold another failure happened on 13/02/10, cause and cost yet to be known as the promised service engineer did not attend and the next working day happens to be 15/02/10- tomorrow. Similar failures have been reported by many for the same model which implies deficiency in design/ manufacture for which customers must not be held responsible.
How can Samsung state that such failures happen in coastal area due to high humidity and moisture??
