I bought Samsung Galaxy S2 in Germany on May 2011 when it was newly launched in market and since then I became a fan of this smartphone - its my trusted friend since then.
Many new models of Galaxy series arrived in last 2 years latest being S4 but still I don't feel like changing it as it still is running smoothly, it supports the latest games, Samsung provided the official upgrade to latest android version and each and every part of it is running like it was when I bought it. And saying this for a 2.5 year old gadget is a Big thing and speaks volumes about the values I got from this smartphone.
Its very light weight, screen is not too small and not too big. Its body is tough. It fell from my hand on hard surfaces so many times but still there is not damage at all. The scrolling is smooth and touch sensibility is still awesome!
I am big gadget freak and I used each and every functionality on it which a smartphone can offer and immensely satisfied with all of them. Recently I even rooted my S2 when its warranty expired and since then after doing some tweaks, its running even more smoothly and reliably and doesn't feel like a 2.5 year old machine.
I know that review on S2 is bit old as I believe that Samsung even stopped manufacturing it now. But this review is as much for Galaxy S3 & S4 as it is for S2. I am sure that even S3 and S4 would be as fast, smooth, long lasting and durable as I felt for S2. Its a trusted brand, a trusted device. I would highly recommend Samsung Galaxy series to everyone.
