I was waiting for an ideal phone and after buying Note II and using it for around 6 months I will say, it is still and ideal phone for me. By far the best you can get. I will not talk about the general specifications like Wifi, OS etc. as they are readily available on net, but still there is a lot thing to describe about the phone.

Note II  or GT-N7100 has high processing power which allows multitasking. Meaning, you can split the screen into two and reply a text message while watching video on the other screen. This is a perfect example of using its High processing power and Big screen. and this can be controlled very easily just by sliding from top to bottom. So you can save phone battery as well by disabling it.

There are lot of such features in the phone which make it The Best. Its easy to use and delight to watch. I am summarizing pros and cons of Note II

Pros of the Note II

1. Battery life: Considering the Screen size of 5.5 which require more battery consumption, A full charge phone can survive 2 days(with average usage). Though when I play games I need to charge it on daily basis.

2. Screen Size and Display: Screen is bigger than any phone on earth and better as well. Streaming video can raise your eyebrows, colors are rich and beautiful. You can even watch a movie with out compromising the HD viewing.

3. Dual Camera:  8MP Back camera can shoot in dark as well(using flash). Photos/Videos are as good as a DigiCam. And can easily beat a normal DigiCam of 4x Zoom in any aspects. Front camera  is also handy.  It provide better video calls comparing to a laptop while using skype or gtalk.

4. Ease of Use: Extremely easy to use. Comes with an option of One Hand operation which allows to use phone single handed by shrinking the key and can be adjusted to Left or Right side.  Writing emails/text is faster than ever as it provide suggestion which are extremely accurate. In fact I prefer to write it on my Note II than to my laptop to save time:)

5. S Pen:  Stylus Pen allows you to Write/Draw/Click/DoubleClick/Hover/Capture on screen. It add an extra Style and fun while using the Note II

Cons of Note II

High cost: Note II cost around 36, 000 INR.

BIG SIZE: Big on your pocket, Note II, Won't slide easily in your pocket. Though its not heavy, but its big due to its big screen, which an advantage as well. Tricky. Note II will require some extra care while caring.

Usability with Headphone Headphone has buttons for volume control and call. But you can not change channels while listing FM. A basic feature but missing.

Now the big question should I go for Note II or S3 or S4

Except for the fact that Note II has S-Pen(An extra input device). All of these three have similar features and can fullfill all the requirement of a high end smart phone. Though, I wont suggest to go for iPhone because of its smaller size and OS limitations comparing to Android. So any of these three are the best buy, But my verdict is

For Extra Power, For extra inches of screen, For an S-Pen and For Extra Battery life go for Note II

That's all. Hope it will help you to make a smart decision. Do provide your feedback or comments
