I joined this company last year, worked hard and proved myself, although with no return. Before joining had two other company offers as well, but regret taking this. They projected that this company is brand or whatever, although I was aware its not any brand but went with gut feeling that they will have atleast fair policies and follow professionalism. But to my surprise that is the least u can expect from this company, below are the things which nobody denies in Saggezza,
You cannot enter Saggezza from front door even if u try u dont have access, they say its reserved for Client visits. But network guys(who are also employees), PMs do have access and they constantly access that.
You cannot argue on project works with Managers, its strictly prohibited. PMs are above Gods, their decisions are final. If they cannot talk to clients its your problem.
PMs ratings are final, even if you have worked day and nights and slogged on weekends(underestimated project by PM), u might be badly rated. He can choose who gets high ratings, no discussion with anybody, HR discussions are better left to them(this is a problem with any small company)
No strict WFH(Work From Home) policy. It all depends on PM. If PM chooses somebody to give WFH then he can take as many as he wants.
5. Leave alone WFHs you cannot take your own allocated leaves unplanned. Even if its your kid who doesn't feel well, you have to show proofs that you visited doctor. I dont know what to show for bank, school visit. Just Imagine if you end up in some personal situations where you need more support from company then its would be hell.
Coming late to office after 12 is not acceptable, even though its client call you had to take from home. Take half a day leave. Although while joining they will mention they are flexible. 10 year old policies, even big companies don't follow these things now(from My experience with big MNCs)
By chance you had to visit client location(US, UK), you will be given meagre 50$ per day along with accomodation(so it comes around 1500$ /month=Rs. 90, 000). But if u have leave the company within 1 year of duration you have to pay nearly Rs. 3, 60, 000/-(no extra zeroes its three lakhs considering 200$/day) and add visa and ticket expenses extra. Its totally unfair how can anybody ask for project's work.
Now worst part, no tissues(Toilets) in bathroom most of the times. If you say anything they will blame Bagmane tech park but will not even complain to them. Saturday and Sundays you will not get even water to drink.
Freshers are treated very badly. Some freshers they recruit from IITs are mostly those who have not got any offer from any company in their campus placements and waiting to join any IT company(oncampus last slot). Even those guys hardly join.
Its good company for higher management guys but not for leads -> developer. No regard for your technical/leadership skills. Hardly pays 2-5% hikes every year, no EPF(i think its illegal not to pay 12% of basic). Whatever hardwork you happen to give for project will be hijacked by higher management guys.
Tea served is pathetic. No sweets on Diwali or any festival. Whatever snack once in a while they give, is also third grade which nobody gives to their maids.
Some people mentioned about special treatment to particular community, sorry to say I never happen to see that/ heard.
Other than these its OK company. Welcome to'Technology with Wisdom'(Knowledge takes them farther).
I challenge anybody from Saggezza to prove/argue whatever I said are false. Mostly people are body shopped to TechMahindra, HP, .those guys might not be aware what is real Saggezza.
