I am writing to tell you friends about the Sagar Ratna Restaurent in Ghaziabad housed in the Galaxy Multiplex.
It is a really big eatery and used to be a fabolous place earlier. The ambience is still good family type but the standards of food are on the slide. I was appalled one day when my soup was served in chipped bakelite bowls and plates. When I pointed this out and asked them to be replaced another set came and chipped again.Then in the soup I found a piece of carrot with a black core.When I showed this to the manager he apologised and we were not charged for the soup.
Having said this I must say that the portion size of most dieshes ( north indian) is really generous and the food is overall tasty.It is excellent value for money if you look at other restaurents near by such as Bikanerwala who charge roughly the same amount for almost half the portion. One of my favourite dishes is the Mushroom masala.It actually has loads of nice sized mushrooms in it.
I would recommend it for a good North Indian meal (yes in a south Indian Restaurent) when your wallet is tight and you have a big group to take out.
