Living in the US I tend to miss ALL the damn good times people in india have celebrating! And I could come up with a hundred and one other reasons why I should be back there again...but I won't. I will however talk about cricket which all of a sudden is all that i've been thinking about.
Sitting in class my professor is discussing the Clean Air Act and I probably should be listening considering the exam is soooo close but really, who cares? Especially when india has won against pakistan and all I want is the chance to party that somehow skipped me. I didn't manage to wake up at 2:00 am to watch the match but I did find out first thing in the morning whether we'd thrashed them or not. Sachin Tendulkar is incredible. At least the man has his priorities straight. Not to be bitchy or anything but its quite refreshing to see someone play cricket so well and actually get us results. Dravid too really kept us up there.
When there's cricket who needs other games? I can't even believe the fact that the Washington Post did not even MENTION the worldcup. What is with these people? They obviously do not have their priorities straight.
Hopefully Americans will one day realize that Baseball which by the way is a retarded rip off of some game is obsolete and no, its never going to be HOT anywhere in the world and at the end of the day you gotta watch cricket!
