This is truly wat I didnt expect of the album..i expected it to be a crossover or somthing like that! but after listening to 2-3 songs, I gave second thoughts..i got hands over it as soon as possible! this was only due to my sister was jumping on ranbir kapoor's name..she is one of those crazy fans, only crazier! she urged me to buy it and finally.
Starting with the first song, which had become the most common song among people now! its the title song SAAWARIYA which is sung by shail hada, probably a new comer as I never heard his name before! his voice totally suites the actor's personality.. he has sung its lively and one may go on hearing it again and again like I m doing! heyy...it doesnt means that other songs are not good...lemme go to the next song!
JAB SE TERE NAINA...a lovely song with blend in music....sung by our own shaan! the music starts with a slow note and suddenly picks up speed and again goes down like a train. only the song is better...his voice is sweet like ever!! and it is meant for admirers...
MASHA-ALLAH is a song sung by kunal ganjawala and shreya goshal...they are as usual good and have sung others songs in the film too...
the song totally describes about the girl's beauty. SONAM KAPOOR, who is really breathtakingly beautiful...this one is not very much liked by all but is also a good one!!
THODE BADMASH.....sung by shreya goshal...is a lovely composition by the director himself! goes on a slow note like most of the songs...a very cute song! the singer completely blends her voice with the girl's sweetness!
YOON SHABNAMI... sung on id as per the video...awesome songs and m sure that it wud grip the audience's heart!!
DARAS BINA NAHIN CHAIN is not among the ones I liked....i dont like richa sharma's voice firstly...and thats the reason I didnt like the song!! might be liked by few people but not atleast by me..
SAWAR GAYI...is a ultra slow motion song....but is very sweet on ears....again by shreya goshal...gosh! bengalis are really good at music!!!
JAAN-E-JAAN type of songs would obviously be loved by all....
PARI is also among ones which I didnt like....i dont even have a reason for it! it is good to listen but still I cant explain the irony for this song!!
SAAWARIYA REPRISE is awesssome....shail hada has proved himself as a good singer! he pulls his voice on high notes and still I feels lovely, , , , , ......
APART FROM THIS, the CD is actually a multimedia one which also has the theatrical trailor of the film and few wallpapers...but the video part is only playableon a PC!!
My verdict for th album would obviously be: WATT ARE YOUR WAITIN' FOR..... buy it as soon as possible! if you like slow songs....even if u dont like slow songs....i still recommend you to buy! it would also be a change for your ears as well as you may check whether you are accustomed to slow songs or not.....
