A refreshing change to the melodrama that we are feeding off like vampires. Well dramatized, slick action and subtle undercurrents amongst the staff of Astra make this a watchable and realistic show.
The cast are well directed and bring out the essence of their ''mission'' with the caveat of action and sufficient emotion to demonstrate they are humans afterall!!
The camerawork can be improved focussing on Saakshi's kick boxing and leg stretches rather than zooming into her face and leave her to stare right back at the lens with her mouth open!!
Saakshi's mother drifts back to the typical melodrama of Indian motherhood, dripping with honey, totally witless making one wonder how did she ever survive rearing her offspring for 20 years...Less focus on her and mundane household chatter would improve the quality of the serial.
A quick view of a few X Files, SWAT, 24 hours or even Charlie's Angels episodes could steer the director and or screenplay writer back on track in keeping with the original conceptualisation of this serial.
