I have had the worst nightmare ever as a doctor myself buying the red carpet policy for my parents before they were unwell. A year later my mom passed away and dad is now terminally ill. They keep playing pranks with family members who are in no way interested to dance to their whims and fancies going through a difficult phase of their life.
With dad still alive none of my claim submissions got approved in spite of submitting all relevant documents and forms with doctors and hospital endorsing them. The worst part is the staff from Star health had even acknowledge receipt of everything with nobody following up with an affected relative to take this to a closure. Even their grievance department/ legal team is a sham. The only time they will diligently follow-up with you and behave well is when you are due for renewal of the premium. DO NOT EVER TRY BUYING STAR HEALTH's INSURANCE POLICY.
