When I was in service I had many Corporate and personal Credit cards. After retirement I maintained 4 credit cards: CitiBank, Standard Chartered, HSBC and SBI. I always faced problems with the first 3 cards, but never with SBI credit cards.

Though I couldn't pay some of my dues, due to huge amount (about 10 lacs) due from my previous company, the SBI credit card, officers, considering my situation, reduced the minimum amount due and kept me active. Once I settled all their dues, they doubled my limit. Its more than 10 years I have been using SBI Credit card and I never faced any problem. Its easy to pay our due, online and their Customer service on phone is very informative. As a Senior Citizen going to be 66, some special facilities are given to me like 24 hrs X 7 days (normally they are available between 8.30 am and 8.30 pm).
I am now in USA since December 15th, 2009, and will return to India during mid June only. Transaction with SBI credit card in USA like cash at anytime, purchasing air tickets, shopping , are really great!
As I have left with my Bank in India instruction to pay my credit card bills, no more problem about over due or non-payment issues. Not only that, if something happens to me they will wave out Rs. 1 lac from my due ( I am paying small amount as premium).
I feel SBI credit card is the best among available Credit Cards in India!
