Runbox.com. Review on Runbox

I do a lot of internet business and wanted an e-mail account which would hold a large amount of e-mails without feeling like I have to delete old emails that I wanted to keep. I tried Runbox for the month but was sorely disappointed! I use eprompter as my e-mail notifier and I received a notice from Runbox that I was abusing their service because I set my notification for every 1 minute! They suggested that a minimum of 10 minutes between checks would not put undue stress on their server and would not impede others' use of the system. Not a problem if you don't need to have more frequent checking of your e-mail, but it's not feasible for me to wait 10 minutes between as I have to communicate with people on a regular basis. Apparently their server isn't able to handle that! None of the other e-mail accounts I use have that problem. Not Yahoo!, not MyRealBox, not anyone (but their account storage and spam filters suck; with Yahoo!, you have to set the spam filters yourself). I was sick of getting spam and needed a service which would have the latest built-in spam filtering system. Now I use Mailsnare.net. It's very similar to Runbox in price and capabilities, but I found that Mailsnare was able to handle what I need it for! Actually, Mailsnare has two levels: 14.95 and you get INCLUDED with each account 35mb of e-mail storage and 5mb of SEPARATE file storage. Their Enhanced service at 19.95 has 50mb e-mail storage with 10mb of separate file storage included with each account. Add 9.95 (to the Enhanced Account) and you get the 100mb e-mail storage! I paid an additional 4.95 and and was given an additional storage that raised me to 50mb of separate file storage. So now I have 100mb of e-mail storage with 50mb of separate file storage included with the account. Same price as Runbox (29.95 plus 4.95 for additional file storage = 34.90) Runbox charges 29.95 for 100mb of e-mail storage right off the bat, but without separate file storage. With Runbox, 100mb of e-mail storage is all you get. There is no separate file storage included, nor is there any capability for paying for separate storage. So I like Mailsnare a lot and their customer service is very friendly and quick to respond! They have not complained of my use of the service. I like hassle-free e-mail and I found it with Mailsnare!
