Yes it is a Royal enfield thunderbird 350 cc, but it isnt the BULLET, that we all desire for.
Looks: Yes it is elegant looking, with a high raise cross-bar handle, it becomes a very much cruiser bike in a daily use category and among the other bikes by Royal Enfield, it is a standout with the newer version having projectors.
Comfort: Seating comfort is a four star rating for sure, but riding comfort, the engine doesnt provide what a bullet is capable of providing.
Performance: The engine is a 4 Stroke, air cooled, single cylinder which provides 19.8 bhp, but for its kerb weight of 192 kgs, the power feels a little light weighted.
Mileage: Gives better than any other royal.
Maintenance: The older version, is really reliable for a cruising experience and is a less pocket consuming, the newer version comes side to side with the other royals.
Alterations Available: In my personal experience, the bike is the most alterable and hence I would say it is the cheapest of all bullets and most alterable.
The cross bar! A MUST!
Seating a more decent quality leatherette. and removing the back rest!
Paint job! again a must as it comes with mono colors only at the moment. A little boring colors too!
Rear suspension, the twin gas charged shocks litterally gives a shock to the person behind on a long travel in pit holes. One can probably go for a rear swing arm.
basically its a bike for the looks and for a bullet as in BULLET feel, one could surely go for a classic!
BULLETS are never for racing if one wants a race its just "Dude, I got a bullet today, PEACE! "
