I own a enfield classic 350 which I bought second hand from bangalore with only 3500 km on the clock.
I have been riding it for a year, and let me tell you, if you are a power freak, nothing else can match this.
I have been to Bangalore-Chennai and back twice on this bike and it was a wonderful ride. Just imagine cruising at 125 kph on the NH4! and doing passing maneuvers at 100 kph!.
The standard bullet runs out of steam at about 80, but this one accelerates all the way upto 110, so its very confidence inspiring on the Highway.
Only cons are
1) If you drive at a speed beyond 100 kph, the mileage drops like a rock( 18 kmpl or so)
2) The run in period is very critical, If you dont do it properly, the engine is ruined. I advise holding back the horse until atleast 4000 km
3) The cruiser style is more prone to front end traction loss on braking( same thing applies to TBird too). So I have converted my bike with a Standard frame.
Pros:
1) Riding stance is very comfy, no backache, buttache or wrist ache even on long drives
2) Stomach churning torque and power( One of the highest power to weight ratio among Indian vehicles)
3) Looks real manly and majestic
If you can get one in good condition buy it and treat it well. Its a rare and wonderful bike
