Let me tell you my sincere opinion about RE Bikes. The retro design looks cool but I am surprised how people who like retro motor cycles dislike retro style cars and houses isn't it hypocritic or they became victims of the brilliant marketing tactics of RE.

There is nothing special about the seating position in Classic 350, 500 or standard Bullet even XL super or commuting bike like spendour or Platina have same seating style how they are claiming you wont get back pain if you ride ling distances. Isn't it a myth.

I have driven my TVS star city 2006 model recently for 700 kms in one shot. I never felt any back pain as claimed by RE fans while riding other bikes. Also I disprove RE last longer than a turtle or crocodile in lifetime. Any machine if maintained well will last for years. I have seen a centrifugal pump in one of the southern villages of TN which runs for 110 years.

Only RE can climb hills? I agree RE have power and enough torque to pull you up but for this purpose other smaller capacity bikes can also do the job. Its just a over hype by the fan boys.

Increased weight improves stability? How about a cornering like R15 or RC 390 do you think RE is stable than these bikes. Dont call other bikes as Plastic bike except mud guard, Instrument console and tool box every thing is metal in other bikes too so they enjoy better fuel efficiency than RE bikes.

Engine refinement? You will start shaking the moment you press the ignition switch on and it gives free massage while riding:D

Oil leak - Without turning me on I will leak how about that

No tubeless tires, No Dual Discs, NO ABS, No fuel gauge but I have useless amp meter, No oil cooled or liquid cooled engine, No Digital instruments, Irritating sound which creates public nuisance, No engine refinement, No proper power to weight ratio

The only thing I like is classic styling which no other bike have this kind of style and muscularity.

I am not a RE hater nut I wish people should get right product for the money they are paying rather than buying a product just for fame factor. RE need to improve a lot and wants to research what best they can offer for their customers.
