I subscribed this magazine last year. The contents are good since Right choice is a partner or part of which right choice of UK. They do independent research and the claims seem genuine since they do not take any ads except their own which seems true going by last one years experience that I had.
The research done by RC is quite in detail and they generally understand what they are doing still it is advisable to do your own research specially while purchasing costly stuff since RC researchers sometime do not cover some of the important features that you may be looking for. For example while comparing cars RC did not compare "Ground clearance" which is important for Indian roads. Also the comparison does not include all top selling brands which gives a limited feed back to the buyer. Given the Indian's habit of looking at all top brands and comparing them RC needs to improve upon this.
On one occasion I noticed that RC recommended Sony Xperia Tipo to one of the subscribers and when I checked in the market I discovered that Tipo is no longer available and is outdated. RC may avoid recommending out of production stuff.
The subscription offered good value for money specially when they started as RC gave back a gift which was close to the price of one year's subscription. It may be however a costly proposition to continue with RC subscription without any offer.
