When Renault announced Kwid and its price from that moment only I decided to buy it considering its features and looks. But after the launch and when its booking started, I went to the dealer keeping booking amount and my pocket to test drive it.
From exterior I as all amused but when I got the chance to sit inside and drive it, I was all shocked! Engine sound was clearly audible inside the car without giving throttle and car was not able to gather pickup as per its looks. Engine clearly gave signs of its small 0.8 liter capacity. To my another surprise interior is too plastic and quality it very cheap. Doors are light weighted, Dash board is cheap plastic, display of touch screen multimedia is poor. Car lags when A/c on. So, all these things instantly gave me a indication that company has ONLY worked over exteriors and to keep the cost of the product low, they have done very cost cutting. So, folks dont just go over the looks.
