Kindly pls stay away from reliance wimax connection. never u get an ip address from the server( there no static ip adress in this, the server will be providing u a dynamic ip once u log in to ur system as per reliance but till date(feb 28 2008) I was really waiting to see this miracle happening on my pc..) never ever trust this isp. even we cannot classify them as an isp.
If u want I will upload my ping history( when u ping to the default gateway adress u will be getting multiple Request time out messages) u r unable to log in to gmail orkut. bcos of this multiple timeouts. I have saved all the logs. and the other interesting thing is the gr8 tech support. when ever the problem comes around bangalore circle they will disconnect the toll free no. so nobody will spend money for an std call to mumbai to log a complaint. gud brain...even if u talk with tech agents they will be providing a number case id.. I really tired of keeping all this no on a note book(bought 100 page notebook for tracking all this case ids) definitely u will be getting a call frm the concerned netwrk dept.. here the real support wrks. they will ask u to log in to the system and do some trouble shooting steps..nothing but ipconfig/release, flushdns, renew according to them this is only one soln.. they will send support persons(local support people bangalore) , its really great exp to speak with them. they doesnt have basic idea abt systems and trouble shooting steps, we have to educate them.. gr8 exp. in my life, unforgettable moment.. welll okay finally somehow they will mage to get an ip.. okay here comes the real thing.. u successfully logged in in, now u chcek the bandwidth of the connection(pls do not trust 300kbps flat free(a special usage that u can see in the home page) chk with third pary applications like mcafee speed test, 2wire internet.. now u will get the real speed. This all are my bitter exp for the past 5 months.. pls no body should fall in this trap again.
Previously I was using sify they are far better that reliance.. no one can fool a person all the time.. I didnt used this connection for one moth(u will think that fault is on my side no way.. bcos I am a person who always surf internet nd downloading stuffs.) I asked tech idiots to make an adjustment with the bill she said that at this time we cannot , so once aftre the bill comes we will make with next month.. no one made till now, might be they are calculating. great people know so we have to adjust with them. Sooooooooo finaly I decided to stop the connection.. I blasted them. now they are not passing the phone to the supervisor, previously they used to do that when we request.. (may be a secret meeting have been taken place for this when the agent is available why should the supervisor stupids here the song frm us???) . now I got the case id for cancellation but it will take 15 days to finish everything(then only they can charge next 15 days bill .. I asked abt this he said that this their policy.. yes yes this is the ryt policy. for making phone calls to those suckers I have spend pretty gud amount.. gr8 people.. pls stay away from this money suckers.. neeed to punish these culprits for cheating people.need to isolate them.. let foreign companys comes to India.
