A good option as broadband. Review on Reliance Netconnect

My sister has a option to work from home when they have a night shift. There fore we need to have a descent connection all the time. Since last year we tried all possible net connections in Kharghar like SSV, Sify, . . But at times the net wont connect at odd hour and if it was after 11 pm, reaching office for her was a big problem. We had paid installation charges and then abandoned connections looking for something better.So when one of my friends suggested netconnect and said he can watch you tube without buffering I decided to give it a try. I took his netconnect for two days and we found it satisfactory.

Price:

It was costly to begin with(3500/-) and the plan I took was 10 Gb night and 3gb day for Rs 1050.And charges after that is something 50p/mbps but I believe this amount of gbs is not going to get over ever.And I got free usage worth Rs 2400/- spread over 12 months.So the price was allright some Rs 850 pm.

Performance:

If you are looking for 3.1 mbps, I am not sure you will get it .Maximum I have got is 210 kbps download speed which I believe is good for us.Lowest I have got is 15kbps.Average 40-50kbps and yes buffering is rarely required for you tube.One good thing is it always gets connected.

Support And Service:

As of now I have called them only once regarding some billing plan issue, the response was

prompt and it got resolved. One thing good about their call center software is that you dont have to remember your complain number, once you have given your customer number they are able to fish it out.

Billing:

The usage calculation has been satisfactory for first month my night time usage was 2.4 gb and day usage 400 mb.So from next month I have downloaded 4-5 movies at night time. Movies of 700mb takes about 3-4 hrs if speed is averaging around 60kbps.

Other points:

We have also taken another wired broadband as a backup but it hardly comes in use. At this point we have a peace of mind that it wont go down at wrong time. my dad had used it for some share trading and was satisfied with the performance.
