My talk time balance was Rs. 360. On 4th July, 2014, I dialed 121. After listening for an attractive data offer of 150 MB 3G data valid for 1 month by recharging Rs 40/-, I recharged,
( after listening again thrice) by dialing 77740#. I used internet for 10 minutes, consuming not more than 20 MB approx. Since network stopped, checked data balance to find same to be zero! Checked to find talk time balance also zero! When reported this matter to customer care of Reliance, I was surprised when told that they have no such scheme of recharging Rs. 40 to get 150 MB 3G for 1 month & have got Reliance to Reliance free minutes instead. When argued that wrong offer on 121 is not my mistake, I was told I should have confirmed with them. Both customer care executive as well as his senior refused to reverse the error.
In nutshell if you call 121 for any offer from Reliance, don’t believe. Confirm with customer care before acting on same, else you will be taken for a ride!
