The phone was launched on august 2017 with pre order fascility, I had purchased my phone at that time. Actually I was in need of a secondary phone which would be tiny and could be carried easily and at that time this jio phone perfectly matched with my needs. I got my phone in hand on the middle of october. As I said the phone is really SMALL AND LIGHT WEIGHT and can be carried easily. It has 2.4 INCH QVGA display which gives AVERAGE performance, the viewing angles are not so good but if you keep the price range in mind you can't expect more from it. The PLASTIC BODY is FRAGILE and can break easily at any moment simply by falling from your hand. My phone's plastic back cover was broken just after one month simply while opening it to put the battery in. The KEYPAD is just AWEFUL, in my case it had started malfunctioning only 3-4 months after but many of my friends told that their device's keypad was not working just after one month of heavy use ( from purchase) . Altogether I can say whether you are a heavy user or a light user doesn't matter, the keypad ought to get damaged or atleast some of the keys won't work after somedays, although you have the option to visit the service centre and get it repaired for free. In my case the menu button and navigation keys stopped working. The 4 GB INTERNAL MEMORY AND MICRO SD CARD SUPPORT upto 128 GB gives plenty of storage to store music videos etc. But if you use the internal storage too much the phone LAGS and you may have to restart the phone again and again.
The jio phone comes with 2000mAh BATTERY but it is POOR IN QUALITY, after somedays the battery back up gets reduced and in some cases you may have to charge the phone 3-4 times a day. Now let's come to the OPERATING SYSTEM. The KAIOS is a new one, atleast I haven't seen any phone with kaios except it. They tried to copy android in some cases. Like the shutter like screen where wifi bluetooth etc. Options are available. But I don't find personally this op as comprehensive as android.
Also The FM RADIO is MISSING. WIFI HOTSPOT is also MISSING. These are some kind of basic features which are not available no jio phone.
In my case I stopped using this phone after 9-10 months because it's not so much handy to use. In the begining when the phone is new, you feel good to use it but as the days pass it becomes AWEFUL to use. In my opinion DON'T BUY THIS PHONE.
