Reliance Fresh recently (ok, a few months ago) opened at Agra. Yesterday was my 3rd trip there. As usual, it left me unsatisfied and I am not going to go there again. It is located in a mall that has ample parking but is poorly managed.
On days of large crowds ie Sundays, the traffic is un-managed and in a chaos. Unmonitored parking in front of gates, actively supported by Reliance Fresh employees, causes jams and avoidable misery.
The main staircase of the mall is closed for past 6 months. There is only Shoppers Stop and one small cineplex in the mall apart from Reliance Fresh.
The store is overcrowded with huge towering aisles which cause claustrophobia, but seems to be out of most basic items. I suppose they are trying to offer everything under one roof and in their attempt to cater to everyone at once, they are unable to cater to anyone fully.
Yesterday (Friday), it was almost empty at about 6pm; maybe 3-4 customers. They were out of veggies such as baby onions, mushrooms, broccoli etc. The only things in abundance were potatoes, onions, pumpkin and sad looking capsicum.
They did not have even vinegar, the most basic of cooking ingredients. As it is, the non-veg section has been closed down, so that reason for going to Reliance Fresh is also ruled out.
Goodbye Reliance Fresh, I ain't gonna visit you again.
