RELIANCE FRAUDS
Doesn't connect. Also Declines any refund. Incompetent support.
Reliance Net connect Broadband+(plus) will fail when you absolutely need it.
PREPAID WARNING - Reliance will never work okay if you use it occasionally.
I used to be a postpaid user who moved to prepaid - because I moved to a wireline connection. But I kept NetConnect for use whenever the wire is down. It never gives the speed it promises(not even in my postpaid experience). But alas, it doesn't even connect when I need it. This is the second time having a similar experience - I threw away the device to avoid a third such experience.
Waited on phone-queue for above 1 hour before the call automatically disconnected. Then took to the live-chat option. The tech support conversation below. At the end, the person tried to blame my OS for the issue. Frustrated with the incompetent support.
I tried few things myself. I tried changing the network setup to High Speed 1x instead of using the suggested "Netconnect+" or "Hybrid" and it connects to low speed network. So I was right that it is a problem with Reliance network or servers. All the good reasons to reaffirm that Reliance does not want to provide better speed internet that it claims.
