RAZ Pune - Do they really know their business?

I wanted to installed a high end music system, reverse sensor and keyless entry and I chosen Reliance Autozone Pune because I thought they would be better than any other established and famed shops (Poona motors was in my list).


It was Diwali morning and I reached to them before their shop opening time and sales man was good in his domain. But I was smarter then him in business but he didn't give up and gave my all answers and made me realize that I have not done wrong by choosing RAZ as my car decor.


I asked about warranty as I was worried that cuts in wire will avoid my warranty and he assured me that they will do only peer to peer connection and will give my car in 3 hours.


Well their army started quickly and it was looking like they can do this in 2 hours. But the pace was eventually going down. Still I had a satisfaction that I am with Reliance.


Suddenly I saw the technician (7 yrs ex in Hyundai) is cutting wires in middle. I stopped him and he assured that this will not void warranty. In front of my eyes, they raped wires from several places and I was sure that my dealer is definitely going to void my warranty.


The charm of Reliance was fading, still I had a hope that they aren't going wrong.


After long 7 hours they gave my car back. In first look I realized that wires were messy and wasnt arranged properly at many places. OEM floor carpet wasnt tightened orginally. They didnt even performed cleaning after work.  Now I was in hurry as I have to do shopping for my Diwali Pooja and I just wanted things to work properly.


Now as I swicthed on my key, theft alarm started screaming. I asked them thet said it's functionality. After my arguement they accepted it that it's wrong and some mistake has happened in wiring job. Now second shock, My Central locking had stopped working. Immediately their sales person intervened and again said that since we have installed Keyless entry the function is now routed to remote. I told him clearly I am not going to buy your justification, I want this working. He advised me to go with an expensive cental locking "Autocop" instead of "Xenos". Because "Xenos" doesn't have this functionality. I immediately called up "Xenos" and asked them to validate this. But sales man was adamant and he said that if I go for autocop, he will resolve my problem in an hour. With sheer frustration and anger I asked him to take his stuff our of the car. I told him that I dont want any kind of central locking. The guy refused as he said today it's diwali and he want to go home and I clearly warned him and manager, unless my vehicle isnt fixed nobody will step out from here today.


My threat worked and that started removing keyless entry from car and after uninstallation, again central locking didnt work. Now in hurry to resolve they started removing all the relays and fuses to check the problem and after 30 mins they came to conclusion that central locking switch is faulty. I think it was the right time of Vendetta. Their manager was trying to convince me that these guys are brought from reputed companies having 7 yrs exp and I have to believe them (he also asked me to buy Yokohama tyres and seat covers from him during this conversation). I told them clearely you have created this mess and you will solve everything on your own expenses and with genuine accessories.


They told me to come after 2 days as all spare parts shops are closed. I told them I will not pay a single penny unless things arent fixed. Manager told me that this is Reliance not a road side shop and I told him that's why I was here and I made mistake. I would have much more satisfied with "Poona Motors" (probably a road side shop for him).


Suddenly one of their techie came and told that switch is soldered and fixed. I checked and it was working fine. I just wanted to run away from those guys and never wanted to come back to their shop. I checked my vehicle thoroughly and things were okay except chaos of nut bolt on floors and wires. I asked them to arrange it properly. Suddenly I realized they havent placed amlifires fuse. I asked them to place it and he immodestly placed it and tied it with rope. Crap!!!! WHAT THE IS THIS?: I asked him to be professional and tight it with nut and bolt.


11 hours and a bad day with RAZ spoiled my diwali. Today after 3 days of installation, my bluetooth functionality has stopped working and again I am seeing bunch of wires coming out. Need to approach them again to fix. this.


Don't want to visit these morons but have to... :-(
