I read this book long back when I was still in college. I had a habit of surfing thru the library to find all kinds books. I bumped into this one. Good Work by Mr.Nagarkar. I wonder which other books are authored by him. Even if it may be in Marathi I will read it.
Ravan & Eddie is a story of 2 kids living in a chawl of Mumbai. These boys grow up to be each others enemies.
The plot of the story revolves around the lives of these boys. Their birth, their childhood, their school, their adoloscent age etc.
Ravan is from a hindu family and Eddie is a catholic. (To some it may remind them of the Hindi Film Josh - Shahrukh Khan and Sharad Kapoor) - rest assured this crap movie is not an adaptation of Ravan and Eddie.
The writer in very decent manner also explored the life and lifestyle of the people living in chawls of mumbai.I would recommend to read this book when ever u have leisure time.If u guys and gals know of any other book by this author please suggest.
