Rangoon is one of the most awaited movie of the year. I watched Rangoon, and its no masterpiece from Vishal Bhardwaj. This time Vishal fails to impress, It disappointed us. There was a lot of expectation from this movie, specially for Saif ali Khan who has been in a lean patch from last couple of years.
The story sets in 1940's Saif ali Khan is producer and a former action star, he mentors Kangana to become action stars, he loves her too. Kangana on other hand is slightly insecure to marry Saif ali Khan. Saif promises General Hardings that Kangana will perform for his army. Shahid is appointed as Kangana bodyguard during journey, He is a Soldier who returns imprisonment. Both falls in love with each other. Now kangana stuck between Saif and Shahid. What she does is the rest of the story.
Shahid and Kangana does an Excellent work here too. Sail was not it his best. Vishal Bhadwaj direction this time not created the magic as he known for. Cinematography is visually appealing. Soundtrack goes well with mood of the story.
I am going with 2 star. You can avoid watching this
