The Restaurant is situated at a prime location in New Delhi. It has got two options:
1) Takeaway or Eat outside like a Dhaba
2) Dine-In
Eat Outside option is little cheaper than Dine-In where you can go inside the place and enjoy your meal at little standardized rates that also includes government taxes. But getting a table is always a challenge here at peak hours in the night when there's a huge crowd that is waiting both outside for the Takeaway/Eat Outside and Dine-In option and we had to wait for around 20-25 Minutes to get a table for 4 people here.
The Review I am writing is about the Dine-In option that I tried in this Restaurant. We Ordered Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Roti(which is actually of Large Size and tastes quite good) but other than that I don't think the other meals that we ordered were not at all worth the price that was being charged and the quality of food was average and could have been a lot better. The Presentation was also not upto the mark as compared to other similar restaurants that provide you a quality and taste for every penny you spend on them.
As soon as we enter inside the restaurant there is a Gautam Budha Statue that catches one's attention and makes one excited to enter the place and soon as we enter the Ambience is quite good with some ancient touch like we see in museums(Some Swords, Tools, Machineries) are shown for display combined with some excellent lightning and decors. The place got a great atmosphere where one could enjoy the meal with family and friends in the most exciting way
Though, the staff is not very friendly and sometimes was not too polite in responding to our query/feedback/suggestions. Also when we contacted the Manager regarding a service he was too rude to respond.
Overall, Though it is quite famous and is also termed as one of the finest restaurants in the city by few but it has degraded the quality of food and customer service in the recent times.
Also the Safdarjung Enclave Market where this Restaurant is located has got many other exciting eateries and food joints that you could consider other than this one as well which also provide different cuisines at affordable prices because the main objective of every foodie is to get the best quality food at best price which surely this place fails to offer it's customers.
